Call Your Representatives: Tell Them to Support an Extension to the Eviction Moratorium
This call guide includes two scripts, (1) for your Representative, (2) for your Senators. You can use the same call button for both scripts to connect to the US House Switchboard.
Be sure to Rev this post after your call and encourage others to do the same.
(1) Calling Your Representative:
Find your Representative’s name here.
When you have your Representative’s name available, use the “Call” button to be connected to the US House Switchboard. Feel free to refer to the sample call script below.
Hello, my name is [your name]. I am a constituent from [state, city, zip code]. May I speak with Representative [your representative’s name]?
After you reach a staff member or voicemail from your representative’s office:
Hello, my name is [your name]. I am a constituent from [state, city, zip code]. I am concerned about the end of the national eviction moratorium and what it will mean for millions of people at risk of losing their homes. Housing is a fundamental right and I call on Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to reconvene both houses and extend the eviction moratorium.
Thank you!
(2) Calling Your Senator:

When you have your Senators’ names available, use the “Click to Call” button to be connected to the US Capitol Switchboard. Feel free to refer to the sample call script below.
