Lethan Hampton (HBCU Liaison, Housing + Food Security Action Leader)

Lethan Hampton is a sophomore biology major, chemistry minor from Houston, Texas, currently attending Howard University. Lethan has always been passionate about community service, specifically with helping the homeless through multiple food drives in Houston and Washington, DC and establishing 2 libraries for children in Africa. Living by his motto “Spread love,” he believes that just one act of kindness can change someone’s day. Recognizing his blessings at a young age, Lethan was influenced to serve the community through his hometown church and organizations like Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. Following his undergraduate degree, Lethan wants to obtain a combined MD-PhD and serve as a physician in under-resourced areas abroad.
